Thought silencers were still illegal? Perhaps it is a suppressor?
The Mark IV is light-years ahead of my old Mk II (as well as the Mk I & III). Mine is still in pieces in a box from the last time I cleaned and got tired of fight with it to put back together. Waiting for the season to end (mid-October) before tackling. Total pita.

Silencers are Class III and legal in 40 States w/ a $200 tax stamp and full background check. I own 7 Class III weapons in Florida.
