Audial NOS Dacs

Just an FYI. I like NOS Dacs and in a search, Audial Audio in Serbia came up. I then searched Audial Dac and after some reading, ordered the S5, a TD1541A Dac. I've had it a few weeks. Cold out of the box I knew it was a keeper. Once it settled in the keeper status was fully confirmed. Music just flows from it, no grit, no grain. A 3D, wide and layered soundstage. Audial also has some DIY options. Pedja, the owner, is an engineer and has been designing Dacs for 20 years. He found a batch of Taiwan-made TD1541A chips that measured better than the Dutch double crowns. The Dacs are rarely found in the used market. If it was a mainstream product I'm sure it would be much more expensive.

It's in Euros, about 2700 USD. I opted for the transformer-coupled option. It is a digital turntable w/o the fuss.
