On the Prowl
I'm sure it's just me, but this TAD gear is starting to look better to me. :nail:

Ivan.......There is so much fine audio gear available today. How does one know when to stop? I can hear the gears whirring from here. http://www.freeenterprise.com/sites/...?itok=GDwWXQMe You are correct about the TAD line of electronics looking good. I am positive the TAD C-600 preamplifier, D-600 SACD/CD/DAC, and a pair of M-600 power amplifiers driving TAD R-1 speakers would be a show stopper. A little doubt here.
Accuphase - good & beautiful they are, I don't know if they do matches the TAD R1 of yours as well as TAD's gears, Ivan. After all, they were supposed to be designed as a "family" - voice together as "one". My take is, give this family combo a go while the Accuphase combination would serve SPEAKERS only companies creations better. After all, one makes all gears and NO speakers, while the other makes speakers and NO gears. So, match and they will fit. Thats my take. If I am given the opportunity to change and TAD is on my list, boom, I'll go for the ENTIRE combo! Bar none! Thats me! Cheers! |
i have always liked the entire TAD lineup.

I like the look of the amp, it screams "well built"!

The M600's on tad ref speakers are incredible, not sure there is a better amp for the speakers.
