SilenZio and MQA

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on the SilenZio. Is there and plans in the near future for the SilenZio to accept MQA?

Thanks!
Paul

MQA is dac dependent. Roon will decide to implement it whenever they want to since they are basically the same company.

When the software gets released Silenzio will be able to decode it with zero issue. Plenty of horsepower.

Roon has nothing to do with MQA as far a companies go.

Jim... MQA is Meridian. Roon was sooloos which is Meridian. Just because legally they are separate entities doesnt mean they aren't cousins or somehow aligned in strategy.

There is no alignment. They are not even cousins. That would be like saying Chrysler and Mercedes are cousins because Mercedes once owned Chrysler.

Meridian products are not even RAAT approved devices. Roon supports the Meridian streaming protocol, in the same way SqueezeBox, Airplay and Sonos are supported. Roon streams to Meridian devices using the older Sooloos network streaming protocol (which as you noted the Roon developers developed).

You do realize that the Jeep Cherokee and Merc M-Class still use a shared chassis, right?

I wasn't clear if this answered the OP's question or not.

Ivan clearly answered it. Couldn't have stated it better myself.
