Hello Ivan,
Do you have a Bryston only room , or are you going to run them on the Accuphase ... Regards, |

I intend to use the Model T's with my Accuphase gear. I'll probably get them opened over the weekend. Of course I'll post pics. |
A bit short handed on labor till Wednesday, then I'll unbox them. :)
|
I'm really glad that you ordered in some Model T Speakers.
I really wasn't aware that many Model T's even had radios. . . . . . http://www.shadetreemechanic.com/ima...hoen%20005.jpg |

Julian... Don't ever stop being you! ;)

I finally moved my new Model T's upstairs to their new location. These are seriously heavy speakers; James wasn't kidding.
Will unbox them in the morning. ;) |
It would be interesting to compair Model T's to the Aerial Acoustics 7T. I bet the Model T's look beautiful in rosewood. Can't wait to see your pictures and read your impressions Ivan.

Yes the cabinet has a very thick baffle and tons of bracing as well as the magnet sizes on the drivers are substantial. I was thinking maybe a 'micro t' should be our next project :D james |
At Long Last!

Here are the pics of the Bryston Model T speakers in Rosewood. They look fantastic, and the grille attachment via magnets is ingenious!

Musicman... Thanks & Welcome!

Wow, that was worth the wait! The rosewood looks absolutely beautiful. Ivan your photographs are excellent. I can smell that aroma of new speaker smell all the way up here in Michigan. :D
Next the sound, but we will not rush you as these things take time like fine wine. Well maybe not that long....:D ~Mike |

Hibbing... Welcome!

Heard the passive Model T's with Aragon amplification and was VERY impressed. Bass is solid and detailed. Can't imagine what the active version will be like.
Wonder if we'll see a response from Paul Barton now that his flagship Synchrony One has been eclipsed? |
I played my new Model T's today for the first time. What a game changer, they sound simply Amazing!
Congrad's James on yet another Grand Slam for Bryston in the audio world! |

Truly game changers. |
Ivan.......The Bryston Model T speaker in rosewood looks gorgeous. The veneer up-charge over base price certainly looks like it is well worth it. That is a great looking speaker. If I had one more room I might be tempted to gives the Model T a whirl.

Bryson Model T update
I really must comment further on the Model T's
We have all seen the positive reviews these speakers have been getting; in fact it's so much, you may start taking it with a grain of salt. Let me tell you, I have been playing mine since early this morning. First, I have done no speaker setup whatsoever I just flanked my JBL's with them. Second I still haven't put the Outrigger stands on them, which will further improve their sound even more. Guys, I kid you not; these speakers "Must be Heard" to be believed. They just do everything right, the bottom end is crazy deep. The mids, and highs are terrific; but even more amazing is the sound stage these are throwing. Now I know I'm driving these with all Accuphase gear, but these are simply amazing. I can easily put these up against speakers costing $15-$20k Another fantastic plus is they have a remarkable small footprint, and are very WAF friendly. What are you waiting for; get out and audition a pair! James... Truly Outstanding Work! |
I have been saying you need to spend 3 to 4 times their $6500 price tag to get anywhere close to the level of the Model T and that doesn't guarantee they can do EVERYTHING the way the Bryston manage to.

I'm so pleased... Today I ordered the matching TC-1 center channel speaker.
