Aerial 20 T's V2 with subwoofer
I'm looking to add a subwoofer to my system. Its is a two channel system
I'm considering the JL Audio Fathom F112 and the F113 also considering Aerial SW12. Does anyone have any experience with these subwoofers? If I go with JL Audio would you recommend the F112 or the F113? My room is 12 feet wide by 20 feet long with a 7 foot 6 inch ceiling height |
All are solid choices. There is a sense of synergy with the Aerial subs, no doubt. But if you want balls-out, F113V2 x2 is your starting point.

We use the Aerials 6T's (clearly a very different animal than the 20T). Back them up with REL subs; also tried the JL Audio E-sub series. Both were great; I found the REL's slightly easy to blend in, maybe it is softer filter slopes (12 dB v 24 dB/octave) for REL.
--> are the 20T's offered any longer? not on the Aerial website AFAIK. |
I own a pair of Aerial SW12's to go with my 20T's. I also own every JL sub made; the SW12's match nicely, but the F113's are clearly the better subs in every regard.

between the F-112 and the F-113? |
It's deep man...deep!

Do Aerial 20T's ever go up for sale? Ever since I heard them at Ivan's I can't get them out of my head. SRV's "Tin Pan Alley" changed my life that day!
