Coach Me Up On Soundbars
I'm totally out of the loop on this not so new tech. We added a 65" 4K TV to our bedroom and due to its size I had to remove the LCR speakers from our dresser. That's where the TV did reside until I returned it. I'll be replacing it with something much better. Sony probably, but that's a different topic.
Anyway, for the couple of days that I did have the Q60A Samsung in the room I started looking at soundbars to pair with it. Seems there are soo many options and types out there from pretty expensive to pretty darn cheap. Say I did decide to move my 65" Sony X85J from the living room into the bedroom (and put a 65" Sony OLED in the living room) what would make a decent to pretty good soundbar paring for our bedroom? I'm looking for something that won't break the bank so to speak. Ideas and insights welcome. |
I just got a new LG OLED 65” C1 for my bedroom and am interested in the same recommendations. The LG is really nice. You may want to add it to your choices to consider (for the TV, not the soundbar) .

I use Sonos sound bars. One Beam and one Arc and a sub. Easy to set up and they sound great for my needs.

IMHO go with Sonos. You'll never find another Sound Bar with the Music streaming features Sonos offers. I'd be willing to bet there are several that sound as good if not better than Sonos but they just don't offer as much.

Sony makes a good one, Sonos ARC gets great reviews, even w/o considering streaming. Sennheiser has a top of the line, but bigger and 2X the cost.
Been considering one myself. Need to look/listen but the Sonos and Sony are the two choices. Both work well w/o a sub according to the reviewers. |
