C2300 tube change

After several years of of non stop use it is time for the c2300 to get a complete tube change. So the question is, are there any recommended dealers out there to buy the tubes?
Thanks Ed

Ed… I am Tube Depot fan; although I don’t have any connections for discounts there.

Have always done well with the Tube Depot.

Also, the Tube Store is good. If you feel like getting some input on tubes, Jon, the owner, is happy to talk about which tubes do what in various pieces of gear.

Ed, have you tested the tubes to see if they're weak? I wouldn't speculate on their condition just because you've used them a good bit.

No I have not. I don't have a clue on how to do it.

Thanks Ed

Tube tester of course. Perhaps a friend or acquaintance - fellow audio club member maybe? I only asked because you can't know it's time to change a tube compliment unless you've either tested the tubes or the unit is malfunctioning in some way or another (usually a first sign of a tube failure).

Generally speaking, signal tubes like in your C2300 are typically designed to last many thousands of hours.

Tubes where to buy

I also second both The Tube Depot and The Tubestore and you may want to try Andy Bowman at VTS, Vintage Tube Services as he handles all types of tubes, tests everything he sells/carries, he is located in Michigan. Have bought from him in the past and have been very pleased.

I will "third" Tube Depot as well. I never had a problem with any order I placed with them. I do note, however, that tube prices have gone up a fair amount; that probably isn't exclusive to TD. The Telefunken Black Diamonds I got from TD are $25 more now than I paid for them a few years back.
