I'm not sure why, I just was never exposed to them.
With my new HiFi setup I promised I would rectify this.
It just becomes overwhelming when a band has such a large and varying catalog.
Debating where I should even start.

The Beatles UK catalog has 13 albums. Not so bad compared to other artists from the 60’s and 70’s that are still releasing albums.

If you can’t purchase them all at once I would start from the beginning with “Please Please Me” and continue in order of release so you can experience how the Beatles evolved.

So correction, the album showed up today.
States its a 1973 on cover and disc...Im confused b/c MOFI states 1979
Records looks mint just like seller said!

This would mean that the album was 1st released in 1973 but the MOFI release of the album was reissued in 1979.

The first two LP's that I was given as a birthday present were The Band's Cahoots and Zeppelin IV.

After that I got my first record player and the first LP that I bought was...

Sabbath, Zeppelin, Moody Blues, Elton John, I absolutely love your first albums. I had most of those too.

Ha ha ha good point Mikado463, records and albums are different. When I was really young, I had a bunch of 45s, but I think I didn’t buy any of those, just appropriated them from my mom.

Love this topic.

That Alice cooper album was fantastic. It wasn’t my first, but one of the firsts.
