Meze Empyrean Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphones
Any Meze Empyrean owners among us? Reviews have been stellar on these Isodynamic Hybrid Array headphones. https://youtu.be/FF9wvgx7uH0

I have borrowed a pair of Empyrean from work and it is now my new favorite. My main cans are Focal Utopia, Stellia, HiFiman HE6, Audeze LCD3 and Senn HD800.
If I only had one pair it would be the Empyrean. The sound signature feels like Accuphase. Detailed and sweet without being fatiguing. The most impressive is how the headphone creates a wide separation of layers beyond your ears. It is a wide soundstage but not quite in front of you the way that the HD800 could. But I don’t like how the HD800’s sound signature. |

Sounds like the Empyrean is worth investigating for my taste and preference. Thanks for the feedback. |

I heard them at my dealer.
I'm not really a headphone person, but they would be on my shopping list if I were to purchase new cans (I own the Senn HD650). |

If you tried and liked HD650, you will like these more. I am using the Empyrian with an old Violectric head amp (HPA V200), which drives them easily, but it s due for an upgrade. I am looking at their newer models that just started to appear (DHA V590, HPA V550). |
