Average Focal speaker lifespan?

Does Focal have a consistent lifespan of their speakers before they get updated/replaced, or have they been all over the map?

Curious how much time the Sopras may have left before they get replaced. Looks like they’ve been out for five years or so.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Focal's Electra line of speakers debuted around the year 2000 under the JM Lab brand name and was discontinued in 2016. Keep in mind that the Sopra line will most likely go through multiple versions as technologies advance over time, much like the Electra line did. The Sopras of today probably won't be the Sopras ten years from now.

I’m a Focal user, a good friend is a dealer. They have lately been introducing more and more product lines. It seems they now have a speaker for every 500 Euro budget increase, with marginal differences between most of them. It does not bode well for longevity or long term value. Today the argue they can’t design a biwire filter for a 4000 usd speaker pair, tomorrow they introduce it on a 3000 usd smaller speaker one line up. You wonder if they find 500 usd upgrades or they just hobble the lower line.
