Rolex 24 2022
What a race! The GTDP class went down to the wire. It always amazes me that these guys can race their butts off for 24 hours and be nose to tail on the last lap.
The DPi class was pretty tight as well but Castroneves seemed to have it under control for the last bit of it. I think 1st to 4th finished within 6 secs of each other. 2022 racing season has arrived. Next up, the Clash at the Coliseum. |
It was a fabulous weekend and race. I just wish it was 30 degrees warmer. Not used to waking up to 29 F here.

I am home now. Plenty of heat.
Camping last weekend, not so much… |

No, I am not a big NASCAR fan. I like racing with left and right turns. [emoji3]

Craig - what happened to the Corvettes?

Rolex 24 2022
One got hit from behind which surprisingly caused a ton of damage and took it to the garage for a long time.
The other lost its starter which also put it in the garage. They were top 5 until those incidents but did not have the pace of the two Porsches and one Ferrari. Unlikely they would have challenge for a podium. The move to GTD Pro caused a fair amount of re-engineering and made a less reliable and slower car. They will get it sort out. But I look forward to the new GT3 class in 2024. |
Perhaps they will get some help from a tweaked performance index. Seems BMW could also use some help.
