IMSA Petit LeMans

Anyone else watching?
Amazed just how much faster the DPi cars are compared to everything else on the track. Always surprised that there are not more crashes with the DPi cars running into the slower classes. Especially at night.

Great racing. Swan song for Corvette racing in GTLM.

2022 will be much more 'interesting' with Corvette running in not only GTD Pro, but offering customer cars to run in GTD. While the pro drivers in factory cars 'should be' a bit faster, some of the privateers will no doubt mix-it-up well. Plus, having more than 6 or 8 cars running in class (as GTLM suffered this year) will be much more entertaining.

Great last 30 minutes of racing.

No win for the Corvette now after the hit by 55. Hope they give Ticknell a penalty.

What a finish.

I am looking forward to next year. The Rolex is less than 90 days away!

Yes. Amazing that it so close.
Assume you are headed down for same?

Of course!

Can't wait for the Rolex 24 as well. Always wanted to go to Daytona for the 24 and the stock car racing that follows.

FWIW, there's still a few more F1 races coming up. Not to derail the IMSA thread here, but the fight betwee Max and Lewis is pretty good. Although I think Max will take the title unless he really stumbles down the stretch.

GTD & GTD Pro should be very interesting. Will definitely be a lot of "dodge em" from the prototypes. Avoiding the slower cars for 24hr has to be tough.
