I also find it a little interesting that pricing is going up on Sept 21 for Japan and Canada, yet its Sept 1 in the US… :dunno:

It's happening across the board. Also, with a weaker yen, those Fairchild Mosfets and shipping are gonna be costing Accuphase more. I guess it was inevitable...

The A300 is now on the japenese webside.
It looks like the A250.
It has 125 Watt in 8 Ohms, 250 Watt in 4 Ohm, 500 Watt in 2 Ohm and 1.000 Watt in 1 Ohm.
Beste regards

Every single foreign company I represent has raised pricing. :scratch2:

Parts, Labor, VAT and Shipping all play a roll.

We don't pay VAT. The others I understand. Currency moves in the USD's favor are offsets, so US price increases should at least be less than in Europe and Asia. On the other hand, some may be doing it just because they know (?) they can.

I agree; it could be a giant conspiracy to raise prices. I know freight alone is up 185% from a year ago. :sigh:

Some European manufacturers pricing is up over 50%

GSOphile 10-03-2022 07:33 PM

I read that freight prices have recently been trending down (along with fuel prices). It would be interesting to know if audio prices for well known European and Asian manufacturers are being increased the same, less, or more in Europe/Asia vs. the US.
