Country Pate' Anyone?

One of my favorite foods is country pate' (sorry - can't find the accent aigu), which is difficult to find in the U.S. and pretty much impossible in southern NJ. So, decided to give it try. Quite labor intensive and takes 2-days to complete. But, I hit upon a great recipe https://www.epicurious.com/recipes/f...agne-em-350966 and gave it a go. Voila......... turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Fruit, cheese, mustard (real Dijon, of course), cornichon, chutney, good bread along with good wine, cognac & port. Yum. Very much worth the effort and I'll be making another next week.
Hmmm.......... not sure why 3-of-4 pic's rotated 180. Whatever.............. the food was excellent. Enjoy!! https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...1&d=1580426809 https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...1&d=1580426809 https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...1&d=1580427160 https://www.audioaficionado.org/atta...1&d=1580427160 |

Pate de campagne #2 is in the oven. 2+ hours and then a bit more work before a couple of days in the fridge. Then cut up the baguette, open the mustard & cornichon and YUM (I hope.......... ;)).
