Great post. I’ve just started looking into scooters and honed in on the Honda ADV150. Even though I’ve been on the Honda website frequently I was unaware of the Supercub. It looks great.

Oh but the ADV150 looks fantastic too and has a bigger motor and can take a passenger. :scratch2:

Lots to think about. Thanks again for the post.

Cheers,

Scott

My brother still has his Honda CB350 4cyl. At the age of 79 he doesn't ride it too much these days.
When I was in school in San Francisco in '67-68 we would occasionally head up to Lake Tahoe and rent the off-road version of the Cub. Believe it was 90cc. Automatic transmission made it easy to ride in the woods.

Scott can’t go wrong with a Honda. As far as which model is better, consider how and where you will use it and if a passenger comes into the equation at all.

Super Cub supposedly can accommodate with an optional seat. It is a retro model and one either loves that or the more modern versions appeal…

Off-road the ADV looks far more capable but if you venture off-road much, there are better suited choices out there. Main thing is to ride safe and have fun riding.

CB350 is a sweet bike. Reliable twin carb, parallel twin with 36hp on a bike weighing in at 375 wet pounds.

Honda sold a ton of them over the 5 years. The figure 250,000 units sold is recorded into historical data. It’s not the 100 million units sold of the Super Cub but still impressive.

Lake Tahoe would be a real treat to ride and enjoy the nature

My brother's is the CB350F. 4 cylinders & 4 carbs & 4 exhaust pipes. He has owned it since new. Think he wants to be buried with it. :D

Lake Tahoe has had a rough several years. Climate change has not treated it well.

I'm at the age where classics and modern classic interpretations are really starting to appeal to me. That's a good looking bike for sure. It may be time for me to look at a Triumph Bonneville... That's one brand I have never explored over the years.
