Greetings from the Pacific Northwest
Hello everyone, I recently decided to join and become member to this community which is a great resource. My audio journey began in the late 70's when my older brother came home with some gear I'd never seen nor heard of. It was some Audio Research gear (sp-6b and d-52b), a Denon turntable (don't recall the model but it was huge!), some Rogers LS3/5a's (original 15 Ohm) and an Audio Pro B2.50 subwoofer. It was all wired up with this huge cool looking Fulton wire. Needless to say I was mesmerized by what I heard and saw. The fire was lit and from then on I was hooked.
A long winding story to date has me enjoying some great McIntosh tube gear (c2600 and mc75 monos), Sonus Faber Guarneri Mementos, a pair of JL Audio f113's and my most recent purchase an AMG Viella V12. It's the most enjoyable system I've own by far. -regards, Michael. |

Sounds like your brother got you off to a great start. |
Welcome Michael! I still have a hard time believing how many audiophiles live in the Pacific Northwest.....it’s really incredible.
