Does anyone here own these?

no but heard them several times , they are pretty special

I have a pair of Focal Micro Utopia Be speakers which are similar, and they are very impressive.

Seen here at our mountain house . . . and I know they are too close together - I just pulled them in for the picture.

Thanks Ivan, but I really think I took the picture in the winter - on the tippy tippy top of my snow-capped mountain. Up north in the great frozen tundra of central Tennessee! :D

I have heard them three or four times over the last year. I almost bought them, but settled for a pair of Sonus Faber instead.

The 1008 BE are wonderful! Clear, extended highs, very good bass for their size (not as deep as Dynaudio, but close), and communicate mid-range.

I just felt the Sonus Faber conveyed emotion better.

Oh, if I only had the scratch to get a pair (or the diablo) for the office system... :drool:
