They have had plenty of time to get it right.

Last picture I saw of Iceman (Val Kilmer) he looked close to 300l lbs. I guess he won't be any competition for Maverick. this go around. :banana::banana::music::music::D:D

He wanted so bad to be in this movie, but was turned down.

He's been battling throat cancer and alot of other issues for years. I have just seen quotes that he is supposed to be in the film with Cruise quoted, etc...seem to be quite a few conflicting stories out there.

One way or the other, the trailers looks great, adding Harris, Hamm, Teller, Connelly, Toloto as the new "Phoenix" character as female fighter-jock etc....flight sequences reported to be even more intense, Faltermeyer and Loggins are back on the soundtrack too; should be a huge rush all over again!!!

Looks good, despite being a year away - love the power of Navy Air

Might be a cameo, may be a bit more.

The title of this movie should be, "Top Gun: AARP."
