The Peacock Clock Hermitage Saint Petersburg

If you have not seen this amazing wonder that is over 200 years old, it is a must see. Created by James Cox, an inventor, jeweler, goldsmith and an entrepreneur in the 1770's. Rumor has it, It took a Russian engineer 12 years to assemble the dissasembled clock once it arrived in Saint Petersburg to join the collection.

If not in person, then at least youtube. :D https://youtu.be/ilPlVRoUl_8

very unique Serge, thanks for sharing. Makes my grandfathers old German Cuckoo clock seem rather lame .......

Can't imagine how this feat was accomplished back in the 18th century. Never mind the intricate detail or even the sounds but the articulating neck of the peacock and the tail is just beyond belief.
