Magnepan 3.7i Which Power Cables?
 

Which power cable do you connect your 3.7i?

I am using Wireworld Silver series Speaker cables.Power cords are all We Silver too.

???????? since when are Maggies an 'active' speaker ??

I took his question as a speaker cable being used.
They are not active.

OK............ I use signal cable / ultra.

I use Cardas Golden Cross legacy cables.
Made for Magnepan speakers and the best I have every tried.
They can still be found used on the web.
5.5 awg. effective gauge wires.

what is it about them that makes the 'made for Magnepan' ?

WHen I had Magnepan 3.6 speakers I used Kimber 8TC.
I still use the same speaker wires for my Magnepan 20.7 speakers.
It is an excellent speaker cable for less money than many out there.
Mine have WBT banana connectors at the Speaker end. And common copper spades at the amp end..

All nice speaker cables posted above. I've had Alpha Core Goertz MI2's and 3's forever.

Mr Cardas used the magnepan 3 series as the reference in the design, and they are shown connected to the 3 series on their website.

I use Furutech Speakerflux with Magnepan 3.7i

Temped to try KIMBER Carbon 8 or 16
Now use Cardas Iridium.

Keep it simple and reasonably priced, Belden 5T00UP (Gray jacket, 10 AWG) with Locking Banana plugs from Bluejeans cables, built to the length Needed.

I use Furutech Speakerflux.

Exactly what I am thinking of trying next. Currently have Canare 4S11, want to try something with a bit more cross sectional area 🤣
