Anyone have a chance to listen to the new C8 yet?
 

I've been thinking of replacing my C47 with one of the new C8s mostly so I can get the DA2 module.

I used to have a C220 before I got my C47 and while it sounded great I was never happy with how much hissing there was when nothing was playing. The C220's SNR was only 90db compared to the C47s 100db. I'm somewhat concerned that the C8 only has 95db and that it would be a downgrade from my C47.

I suppose I could also get a used C49 for about the same price as a new C8 but I kind of want to go back to tubes.

I'm paring it with an MC302.

Any thoughts?
