458 Spider is a go
 

After some deliberation, I've decided to pull the trigger on the 458 Spider. I was never a big convertible fan but the 458 Spider really appeals to me. The 458 will also replace the 360 Spider and the 360 Challenge Stradale as it will easily do the job of both in one package. :thumbsup: One extra space in the garage would be freed up too.. :thumbsup: There will be other pluses too, a full warranty and free annual services that Ferrari now includes for 7 years (I doubt I'll have it that long... :D). The 458 Spider will be a hot item for the next 3 years so I'll be able to enjoy it without worrying too much about depreciation. :thumbsup: Both 360's were purchased at the right price and both have depreciated to the point where they are stable so no pain there either. :thumbsup:

The only piece of the puzzle is the timing. My dealer promised within a year, waiting list is over 3 years and many dealers are not even taking anymore deposits as they know they will not be able to fill the orders.. :tears:

So if everything works out as planned it will be sometime this year and it will be ordered in Rosso Corsa with Nero (black) interior with red stitching. :banana:

Can't wait.

That's funny, it's exactly what I thought about all the hundreds of millions dollar yachts littering St. Barts harbor and all the private jets lined up in St.Martin. :D It's all relative and I am very far down on the totem pole compared to those guys. They sure do live in another world. :yes:
