What is the earliest thing you remember in your life?
I can remember eating dinner every night on a lap tray watching Batman, Superman, and The Avengers. :D

I remember playing with all my matchbox cars; I have no idea how old I was. :scratch2:

My earliest memory is playing with an outdoor firetruck toy that connected to the hose.

My earliest memory was when I was 3 years old (1966), walking up to New Windsor Road Dairy with Mum, with a couple of 'thrupenny bits'.
We still used imperial denominations until I was 4 years old, changing to decimal currency in 1967. A thrupenny bit was 3 pence, and it bought a huge amount of sweets & ice cream! |
Living in a two family home where my aunt, uncle and cousins lived above us. All of us kids played in the back yard. Sadly, that was the summer of 1967 in Detroit.

Shopping for Christmas trees in the long-gone railyards in Covington near the Ohio river. Trees were brought in by the thousands and vendors created a virtaul forrest of freshly cut trees. The scent was incredible, I wanted to look at all the trees, my parents could hardly get me to leave.

Such a good question and interesting answers. I remember my dad in uniform, leaving for a bit.

I remember bouncing on my Grandfathers knee. :)

When I was 3 or 4, I almost cut off my little toe on some broken glass while playing in the tub. I brought home one of those little glass cream holders that restaurants dispensed the coffee creamer in. Have been traumatized by coffee cream ever sense.....!:D

I had described a house layout to my parents. That was a house we lived in in Pana, IL when I was 2yo.
