Wow! looks like a marvel of engineering - a fine tribute to Brian indeed.

The possibility of replacing a bunch of boxes with an integrated pre is very, very tempting!

QQ's
- Does it include the (3) Salomie input circuit? Or does the new input circuit outperform the older Salomie?
- Are the DAC boards replaceable if Bryston decides to upgrade?
- Which DAC chip are you employing? AKM 4490EQ or newer?
- Is the USB input galvanically isolated?
- Can the pre outputs pre outputs be muted individually?

Just from looking at the face plate alone this looks like a significant upgrade in usability - illuminated volume indicator, inputs more clearly organized, new display. Stacking the DAC boards - what a clever idea!

Congratulations - fine engineering and a handsome facade to boot.

Very attractive device!
It has everything you could ever wish for in a modern preamp.
Congrats Bryston!

Hi

1. Its a new circuit design
2. Yes the DAC is a separate board
3. Currently the same DAC as in the BDA-3
4. Yes
5. Not sure on that but because its a software driven preamp I think that would be possible.
