If you are into traditional jazz, Tomas Ornberg's Blue Five sounds amazing.

Special thanks to our man Kal! I always approach the Sterophile R2D4 with a healthy dose of caution since those recs always reflect the reviewers personal tastes and sensibilities. As always, it's a YMMV type thing.

In this case, however, Kal's R2D4 the Ferdinand Reis Octet, Op. 128; Sextet, Op. 142; Trio WoO 70, 2. Performed by the Franz Ensemble. Hybrid SACD
looks just my taste. I scored the last remaining copy today on Amazon.

The other listings for it that I found through a search appear to are all in the UK. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6; Capricio Italian; Russian National Orchestra; Mikhail Pletnev; Pentatone Classics

America - America SACD

If you like female vocals/jazz - The Best of Sinne Eeg (a lot of great CDs)

Roger Waters - Amused to Death

I also like my Moody Blues collection on SACD.

As well as the Shostakovich box of symphonies with Kitajenko.
