Aerial model 6

I have the opportunity to buy a pair of Model 6 locally and would like to hear some feedback from folks who have owned this model. I'll be pairing them with a Vincent SP-331 amplifier; 150/300 wpc @ 8/4 ohms. I mostly listen to folk, blues and jazz music at moderate volumes. I particularly look for detail and good soundstage. Room is 13'x17'x9' and the speakers will be placed along the shorter wall. Thanks.

P.S. This is not a 6T model and for full disclosure the asking price is $900.

I've owned the Model 6 for about 7 years and I'm still happy w/it. The speaker is very easy to place w/it's front ported design. I basically have built my system around the 6. For stereo I have it hooked up to a CJ ET3 SE, Linn TT, and a Bryston 2.5 SST2. I talked to Michael Kelly some years back and he said he designed the 6 for smaller rooms. You got a great price enjoy the music.:music:

I'd say as long as the speakers are in good condition with no blown tweeters or woofer cones that is an excellent price.

I very much like my Aerial Acoustics but, by way of full disclosure, own the Model 8 speakers. I've heard the Model 6 speakers and I did like them.
