Thanks, I think the reference option was put in to do what you say when switching from theater bypass and other inputs. Bricasti updated the software so you didn’t need to do this. Damon Gramont, VP sales at Bricasti lives close to me and actually was trouble shooting with me but he was stumped as well so took the issue back to HQ. that’s how they determined it was a Roon issue. I sent a note to Roonlabs on their forum but haven’t heard anything yet.

ROON ready
Bricasti is ROON ready.

The Bricasti M21 is not officially certified as ROON Ready.

Only the M1, M3, M12 DACs and M5 Bridge. BUT, talk to Bricasti if you are considering an M21. They may figure something out. |
I spoke to Bricasti a few weeks ago about the M21 and it being Roon Ready. They said if you order one just have the dealer request that it be setup for Roon and Bricasti will take care of it. Bricasti said that each time they have a M21 ready to be to be sent to Roon for certification they sell it. I don’t blame them for making customer orders priority. Every manufacturer that sends a device to Roon for certification it is on there dime and Roon keeps all the equipment.

Like I said. They may find a way.
Great company. |
