Thanks for the comments, I will try a couple tweaks first.

The SVT is not a stable rack IMO. I can easily shift the weight of the rack with minimal force applied from my pinky finger.

Are the risers, and top shelf locks on tightly. Use an Allen wrench for leverage when tightening the top shelf lock. Mine are very stable, just don’t offer isolation.

All three of my SVT shelves are tighten. Forgot to mention, 1 of 3 is pretty sturdy and that's with a heavy tube amp sitting on top of it.

I don't know if this would help your situation, but it is a thought.
Some are extremely expensive and some are within reach, depending on model.

I believe Michael Fremer has one under his turntable

Mine is a double wide SVT, I also have close to 800lbs loaded on it; the mass increases it’s stability.

I have a SVT2 as well, no problems with this one, very sturdy.

IMO the design of the standard SVT rack is not suitable for heavier gear or turntables especially on a floating floor.

Very few racks will perform perfectly with a TT on a floating floor, with the exception of HRS-SXR and up, in their product line.

:fishing::fishing::fishing:

And what would a 4 Shelf HRS-SXR run?

What is the overall height of the rack?

Depending on shelves, as there are a few choices; ballpark $22K +freight. You can control the height of the rack w/ your choice of riser heights.

Back in my college days, a few CBS blocks and a couple 4 foot long 2 X 12 boards worked fine.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup: :D
