Stackable vs. Non-Stackable Racks

Any differences between the two in sound quality? Which one do you prefer and why?

Interesting question. I have had both but can't tell you if I could tell how the racks impacted the sound. Maybe if we were talking HRS or Critical Mass more might chime in.

Thanks Jim! I would love to have HRS or Critical Mass but unfortunately they are way out of my budget. :sigh:

Nah, you have a premier system and you know the right people. :naughty:

Consider also Core Design Audio Racks...more affordable than HRS, Stillpoints, etc., and very, very good.

I have HiFi Racks Podium Reference stackable rack. Easy to reconfigure with different leg heights and new shelf tiers. Replaced a no-name fixed shelf rack and there was no comparison. Much better SQ on everything. Then I added Stillpoints...

Budget is around $2,000. I’d have to find an HRS or Critical Mass that fell off the truck. :rofl4:

More affordable but still a bit over budget. I might have to stretch it a bit.

This is more in line with my budget. HiFi Racks are similar to Timbernation Racks which is what I’m leaning towards.

I’m also considering the Adona racks.
