They are about half way through the final season and it has been pretty good so far. If it keeps up they may actually be able to end it decently.

Carrie is still far too independent but better than in some past seasons.

Carrie always seems to be on the edge between shear panic and a mental collapse. Drives my wife crazy.

This last season was pretty darn good. Yes Carrie was Carrie which can drive you nuts at times.

I thought the final two episodes were excellent. I think they did a good job with the ending of the series. Can’t say that with too many shows.

There were ups a downs during the seven seasons but it still kept our attention throughout.

Now next week my favorite series returns. Billions.

Terrific wrap stayed true to the main characters.... and with some great jazz at the end!! The series wandered off into the weeds a few times, but on balance I thought it was the best series on television. Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin and the rest of the cast were excellent.

I really didn't like the very end. It is completely insane and not even plausible, but ok.

Still enjoyed the series.

Great ending. Still can't figure out if Saul planted Carrie in Russia . Part of his play. I'll have to watch the final two episodes again

I disagree that it wasn't plausible. Carrie had many misgivings throughout the series about what was happening around her. When they showed her "working room" walls and desk covered with headlines and photos which I assume this was the basis for her book, she was thinking back to those events that don't go well for the most part.

Just because she ran away to save her ass (and probably life) at the end does not mean she was a traitor. They made it seem she still wanted to help her country and maybe even Saul.

In my own mind I am not sure whether Saul was correct or Carrie was correct. Was saving one life more important than the tens of thousands who would have been killed had a tactical nuclear war occurred.

I don't think he planted her and was surprised to find she was willing to "help".

I think there were some parallels between Brodie and Carrie in the end. I need to think more about it.

An excellent summary of the series and especially the finale.

I will miss Homeland. It was off and on one of the best series on TV.

There is a setup for a sequel / restart...
