There's a time and a place for Vinyl, but I think it is tough thing to successfully pull off at these shows.

Have to disagree guys , its poor planning and gross incompetence to end up with "bad" sound at an audio show, nothing to do with any specific source type, i would be very concerned if looking at that speaker model ...

Really? For instance, what Rx do you suggest for a square room?

And have you ever heard a Rockport speaker or know anything about the designer or the design?

The sound was universally canned , better to focus there instead of excuses for poor sound, it tells me those involved were incompetent, especially since there were others doing more for less ...
