Terry, I’m very glad it worked out in the end and Rascal is recovering well.

krustycat 03-22-2019 01:40 PM

I am glad he is fine now.

Did the doctors tell you whether the cause was just a hairball or not?

I never-ever knew a cat could stop eating and in some cases they will not automatically start back.
They will actually Starve-to-Death because they do-not start eating again, sad. :sigh:

Oh, it does not take long for them to die from not eating.

I'm glad things ended-up working out for your Cat.

Yes, if I didn't tell you there would be no-way to know that even took place.

Thanks from Rascal and Myself. :D

I do know they did look to see if they saw hair or anything else in that Blocked-Area that was Removed.
It was actually sent to Pathology Lab to be Analyzed.
It came back clear, no-cancer, no nothing.
So, it might be that he had that from Birth and it continued to deteriorate as he aged.
The above ^^^ comment is what they said and what Cathy & I also think.

He is now on a Mixed-Diet to help insure this does not take place again.
This has to be APPROVED and RECOMMENDED by your Vet.

Rascal eats more now than he ever has

I think my vet should name a wing after our family we’ve spent so much money there. Money well spent though.

Just my opinion but I doubt people that don't have any pet at all would never-ever believe what they can cost if they have any serious issue.
Extremely costly !!!
Rascal was so young still at like 2-years old we felt like we should Step-Up and give him the opportunity to have a normal long cat life.
So, we discussed it and made the decision to move forward with the Blue Pearl Animal Hospital thing.
We are glad we did

Exactly ...

Rascal on Dad's legs the day I brought him home and after he Ate & Drank.

He stayed with me for days after I brought him back home from Blue Pearl.
He did not let me out of his sight.

We are truly bonded to one another for a fact.

Look close and you can see the Red Wrapped-Bandage on his leg where they had the IV Port.

Ha Ivan, you do seem to know something about cats! :D

Terry, what a beautiful animal!
You inspire us for the choice of our next cat (our current little pet is almost 16 years old but still very healthy).

Hello Bart,

Just as a Heads-up buddy ..............

The Maine Coon is the largest domestic cat in the world.
And I'm almost positive it is now the most popular.

You would love having one as they are said to be the very closet thing to having a dog.

Hello Bart,

It has been awhile hasn't it buddy.
I went and looked in my cellphone and found some pictures of Rascal.
Hopefully these have not already been posted but some might have. :scratch2:

Rascal is now a little over 5-years old.
And he is a Big Male Maine Coon Cat.
Some of these pictures will give you some idea of how large he is now days.

I should mention that Rascal is my buddy and he always knows exactly where I am in the house.
Or in the Dedicated Home Theater.
He sometimes comes up and hangs out in the Home Theater with me.

Always a pleasure hearing from you. :D

I'm still in the process of waiting to take delivery of the Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 I ordered back in December 2020.
Thankfully it is Very-very close now to me getting it.
The wait is for the Graphics for the side.
The Rear-Spoiler Graphic did arrive and had been installed.
Once the Side-Graphics come in and are installed.
Then it will get the Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra Package Ceramic-Coating.
Last is the two (2) top-coats of the Gtechniq EXO.
Then it will get picked-up and transported back to Porsche of Nashville.

Hello Sir,

Rascal is a pretty darn good size cat.
And Way-way larger than a normal house cat.
He is my buddy.

Well the side-graphics for the GT4 are coming from Europe and it seems anything coming from Europe seems to take forever.
Even something as small as vinyl decals. :sigh:

I think the wait though is going to be worth it once Cathy and I actually go take delivery of it.
Cathy says to me, Terry I want it in our garage.
