Has this been released?

It is not released yet.
I was attending local hifi show in Melbourne Australia and the amp was shown as prototype, power was on but no components inside. The heatsink seems similar used in Relentless. From the back side, we can see DAC/Phono/Streamer function could be an option on this amp. Not sure what zone 1 zone 2 for? http://22walterst.com/misc/hifishow-01575.jpg http://22walterst.com/misc/hifishow-01578.jpg http://22walterst.com/misc/hifishow-01579.jpg |
I like the looks of it better up close. One way or another, it’s a great solution for getting into the line without going for the separates. I bet it’ll sound great.

Has anyone had a chance to hear it, or has purchased one? I'm probably going to go see if my local guys have one in to demo, but the few reviews I've seen have been favorable. I'm particularly interested in impressions about the DAC and phono stage options.

The progression Int replaced my gryphon diablo 300. It has dead background, higher resolution, more emotional midrange and more extended high. However the bass does not realy “rock” for some kind of music. I need high volume enough to make it come alive. It looks great anyway :smoking: |

Hi Belancer,
What is Your opinion about its DAC module, is it worth a price tag and how it compares with Your mighty dCS Bartok in the case of lets say Tidal streaming function ? |

I dont think a dac module come close to a dedicated dac, in term of SQ and software (controller app) convenience. |
Belancer... Welcome to AA!
