Congrats Terry!

Congrats, Terry.
I have the Burmester stereo upgrade in my TTS.
A few things I did to improve the sound were -
- Disconnect the center dash speaker.
- Replace the Burmester dash tweeters with Focal tweeters.
- Connect my iPod Classic to the USB in the glove compartment

Hi Terry,
I am so happy this is going to happen for you!
For audio aficionado. you were brave to not black out the $990 Bose option though! :-)
The Bose surround sounds OK in our 2014 Cayenne GTS. Much better than the stock GT3 stereo. It sounds like crap but the flat 6 metzer engine is glorious. The Bernmester in my Dad's 2017 Cayenne Turbo is close to audio aficionado quality.

Hi Dave,

Well my Good-Man I can say with all certainty that Cathy (Wife) is not a car person. :nono:
And the reason I mentioned the above ^^^
She is 100% all in on this GT4 and that guys just floors-me !!!
She loves the Racing-Yellow exterior and also she is all in on the way I configured the interior.
Who would have ever thought after 37 years plus of us being officially Married.
She is so in on this Porsche GT4 and has approved everything I have done on configuring it.

Well buddy speaking of the Bose option ............
I figured what the heck if I was already spending what I was on the GT4 might as well add the Bose.
I figure it can't be worse than what comes in the GT4 so any improvement while doing the longer drives using cruise might come in handy.
I gotcha though and believe me I'm not expecting anything all that great with the Bose addition.

Hi Terry,
It has been a long time since we last communicated here. I always enjoy your posts, and this is no exception. The way you approach this has ME excited that your new car is headed your way. I know you’ll love it.
Cheers from a fellow Tennessean,
Gary

Hi Gary from TN,

Well I don't really spend much time here as I did some years ago.

Gary my Good-Man this is going to be IMHO a once in my lifetime "Awesome" machine.

I'm very confident that I haven't overlooked anything on configuring it on the Porsche build-site.
I went for what to me is useful as well as Total-Eye-Candy.

Stay Safe guys,

Hi Terry,
I recall your order included the red gauges option. Given your car is going to be yellow which I love (my previous car that I sold after getting my GT-3 was a 1995 Dakar Yellow M3 I still miss it), I suggest going for yellow gauges. I found my Dad's car auctioned years after he sold it. His car had the yellow gauges and seat belts. See link below. The carbon fibor steering wheel was very cool too. Thicker than my stock wheel which was better for me.

Dave,

Love the Yellow GT-3 especially in that color.

There is actually a reason why I went with the optional "Red-Gauges".

I wanted to add some color IMO that was needed to add contrast to the interior.

I did consider the Yellow Gauges but then made my final decision and went for both the "Chrono Stopwatch Dial & Instrument Dials" in the Guards-Red color.

I wanted a color that would instantly Jump-Out. :D :D :D

Also, Dave, I agree that Yellow for those would also work as well.
